This is a Copper Ashtray, handcrafted by John Beach for his parents in July of 1954 and kept through the years. I am sure you all remember our finer moments of artisanship in the Handicraft building (that must have been built by the Indians with the help of Barney). And I am sure our parents treasured the things we brought home to them!
